2nd Annual Top 3 SPFs for 2022

Last year I threw out a blog that listed my top 3 favorite spfs. And many of you were so grateful for the insight and straight to the point information. So I thought I'd throw it out there again with the promise of sun right around the corner ☀️!

Let's get into it!

2022 TOP 3 SUNSCREENS:

1. Epicuren X-Treme Cream Propolis Sunscreen SPF 45+ - A silky cream that delivers rich Brazilian Propolis, and UV protection to your skin. This ultimate blend with Zinc Oxide and Vitamin C leaves your skin looking dewy and flawless.

*do not use if you have a bee allergy.

Recommended for | Dry, normal, and combination skin types.

--> I personally use the above mention for my combination acne prone skin. This is my go to this year. I used it through the winter season up on Mt. Hood too. Love how hydrating it feels without being too thick. Gives the skin a nice glow too!

2. Colorescience Total Protection Brush on SPF 50 - Powered by EnviroScreen® Technology, this all-powerful, all-mineral skin shield provides complete protection in one convenient, on-the-go application—alone or over makeup. The only powder sunscreen recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation for Active use.

Recommended for | All Skin Types

--> Colorescience has really hit the nail on the head with this one. Such a convenient size and application. I know it is not always ideal to reapply liquid sunscreen during the day so carrying something like this will be easy to use and keep you protected throughout the whole day. *because do remember, you always need to reapply spf every 1-2 hrs. period.

3. Black Girl Sunscreen Make it Matte Gel SPF 45 - Stay fabulous while protecting your face from harmful UVA/UVB rays with Make It Matte™. Black Girl Sunscreen’s lightweight, gel formula that protects against sun damage leaving no white residue and a matte finish. Helps prevent sun damage such as premature aging, fine lines, hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Infused with natural ingredients such as shea butter and coconut oil.

Recommended for | Oily Skin Types * the matte application*

--> Yes yes I know this was on last years too but not the MATTE GEL version! Last year Black Girl Sunscreen was my #1 favorite. Won many awards that speak for themselves.

Wishing you all a happy summer!
